The Cueva de los verdes is a volcanic structure located in the municipality of Haría, north of the island of Lanzarote, (Canary Islands, Spain). It is part of the volcanic tube originated by the eruption of the volcano of La Corona.

History
The first inhabitants of Lanzarote were called “majos” and arrived on the island during the course of the last millennium BC. C. Probably, they arrived from the African Coast, in primitive boats pushed by the wind. Later, after the introduction of the rabbit, the Lanzarote people exchanged their skins for what are known as “conejeros”. Its exact origin continues to be a mystery, although after the studies carried out on its language, customs and physical features, it is very similar to the Berber peoples of North Africa.

Island of Lobos tour
Island of Lobos or Islote de Lobos? The first is the official name; the second, the popular one, owes it to its scarce 4.5 square kilometers. Less than two miles from the north coast of Fuerteventura (Spain), there are no inhabitants or roads. Only one lighthouse and a restaurant, in which it is essential to book in person. Of course, they cook fish of the day. Even the one captured by customers.

Lanzarote Island
Lanzarote is an island of the Canarian archipelago (Spain), in the Atlantic Ocean. It belongs to the province of Las Palmas. Its capital is Arrecife.
The name of the island comes from the Genoese sailor Lanceloto Malocello, who visited it in the fourteenth century. With 147,023 inhabitants (2017) Lanzarote is the third most populated island of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife and Gran Canaria. With an area of 845.94 km², it is the fourth largest island in the archipelago. In the center-southwest of the island is the Timanfaya National Park, which is one of the main tourist attractions of Lanzarote. The island is in its entirety since 1993 UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
